Join Warwick Neck for a week filled with many returning initiatives, as well as some new things to look forward to from March 3-7, 2025!
1.) Make Your Voice Heard, Warwick Neck!
The RI Department of Education is currently administering its yearly Survey Works Parent Survey, which is an opportunity for families to provide feedback about our school and our children’s opportunities to learn. The survey results are most useful when all families participate, as this feedback is crucial to our development of school goals and improvements moving forward.
Your honest and thoughtful views on matters like the safety of your child at Warwick Neck, the way students are taught, the condition of the school, and how connected you feel to us are important. Responses are anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual or family.
RAFFLE INCENTIVE: If 100 Warwick Neck families complete the survey by March 20th, Warwick Neck will raffle off four (4) $25 gift cards to Papa's Ice Cream to enjoy with your family, courtesy of the Feinstein Foundation!!
The survey works link is on the front page of our school website under the "news" section.
2.) The Warwick Neck Nook
Much to the delight of the kids, the Warwick Neck Nook has returned to our school for Spring 2025! This year, the store will be overseen by faculty and staff to help support 5th grade year-end initiatives and, thereafter, PBIS incentives (P.A.W.S. coupon prizes) for students in all grades, K-5.
School supplies, fidget toys, and small trinkets can be purchased on class-designated Tuesday or Thursday mornings now through the Spring, starting Tuesday, March 4th!
The complete shopping schedule for grade-level classes has been provided on the front page of our school website under the "news" section -- and also on our events calendar.
3.) Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Week!
Our week is off and running with Mindfulness Monday - followed by Teamwork Tuesday! There's something to look forward to - and wear - each day this week! We hope everyone can join the fun as part of a week focused on building SEL skills.
The complete schedule of events, and daily focused skills, is available on the front page of our school website under the "news" section.
4.) Volunteers of Warwick Schools (VOWS) Mystery Readers!
Warwick Neck is excited to welcome 'mystery readers' into some of our classrooms this week as VOWS celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday with a week of fun surrounding a love for reading!
