Did you know? If you child misses at least 18 school days (or 10% of the school year), they have missed approximately one (1) month of instruction at Warwick Neck!? For this reason, we appreciate the effort of parents with ensuring their child is in school if they are healthy and well.
But, when is your child considered not healthy enough - or "too sick" - to be in school? Our school nurse, Mrs. Pfeiler, has provided a helpful guide to know when, or when not, to send your child into school for the day. You may view the guide here - and throughout the year on the Health Guidelines page of our school website.
Important: As with any absence, official notes from doctors (on office letterhead) or documentation/notes by parents are welcomed by the school to appropriately log absences on Aspen and if truancy becomes a concern. To view the district policies on attendance, please click here. Thank you!
Thurs., January 16, 2025 - UPDATE: Please see the attached letter from Mr. Galligan and Mrs. Pfeiler regarding the recent rise in illnesses at Warwick Neck School.
