Did you know!? The very first public school in the United States was established - not too far from Warwick - in Boston, Massachusetts in 1635 as "Boston Latin School." The school, originally serving only boys, is still in operation today - but now serves all with an entry-exam required for admittance into Grades 7-12.
Warwick Neck Elementary School is proud to be part of the Warwick Schools District, and the American education system, to educate, inspire, and prepare students for living out promising, productive, and meaningful lives in society and around the world. We strive to celebrate and fulfill the Warwick Neck School mission and vision statements during American Education Week (November 18-22, 2024) - and all throughout the year!
American Education Week is celebrated annually, in November, the week before Thanksgiving.
