The students in Grades 3-5, along with the faculty, staff, and administration of Warwick Neck Elementary School cordially invite our neighbors and friends to be guests at the following event as we honor the special people who have served our country.
Veterans Day Celebration
In collaboration with the Warwick Neck Improvement Association
Friday, November 8, 2024 -- 10 AM
Outside, in back of Warwick Neck School
(Should rain threaten, the event will be moved indoors)
Members of the United States Coast Guard will serve as keynote speakers, alongside a reading of Veteran names from those who served in the City of Warwick (read on to learn how to submit names). Student songs, poems, and presentations will round out the event.
The deadline for submitting the names of relatives, friends, and community members who are Veterans has passed. However, please know that the spirit and intent of the event honors and remembers all who have served - and not just those named in the list of individuals who bravely protected our community and country in the Armed Forces.
Due to space restrictions, this event is being produced and attended by only students in Grades 3-5. Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will not attend the ceremony, but rather will acknowledge the holiday, and those who have served, through classroom lessons and by making cards of thanks for Veterans.
If you or your Veteran wish to attend this special event in person, please RSVP to Mrs. Kathleen Leamy, our School Secretary, at (401) 734-3480 ext. 2 or via email here so that we may prepare a seat for you.
A sincere thank you to all who have served or are continuing to serve our country today. We are forever grateful!
