Per Article VI, Section 2, of the PTA bylaws, officers shall be elected in the month of May. This year's nominating committee composed of Bobbie-Jo Gemma, Sheba Karter and Jessica Beaupre are putting forth the following nominations...
President - Jessica Beaupre
Vice President - Allison Palm
Treasurer - Jeremy Langill
Secretary - Jacqueline Scott
The PTA will invite nominations from the floor at their meeting this Wednesday, May 24th. Article VI, Section 3, states, "The vote shall be conducted by ballot and a majority vote shall elect. When there is only one candidate for any office that election may be held by voice vote. If only one candidate per office is nominated and there is no one running against them, those nominated shall be declared elected. A plurality vote shall elect."
The PTA would like to thank the nominating committee for their hard work and the nominees for agreeing to have their names put forward for the members’ consideration.
