Warwick Vets will be raising awareness for World Sepsis Day by hosting a Purple Day in honor of Gianna Cirella on Friday, September 13. Gianna was a student of Warwick Schools in 2017 when she developed Sepsis, a life-threatening blood infection.
The Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund has been established to provide assistance for Sepsis research, education, and to support children and their families who have been affected by sepsis. We ask that the Veterans community dress in purple and bring in a donation to support Sepsis research on Friday, September 13.
Winman will also be participating on September 13. Our goal is to surpass them in dressing in purple and in terms of our collected donations.
