Peanut and Tim Harper, our friends from the Harper Foundation just shared the news that our Zoom friend, Nic Fink, just won two gold medals at the World Swimming Championships. When we met with Nic in the fall he shared how friendship, hard work, and perseverance were key traits to helping him reach his personal goals. He certainly reached them this week. Congrats to Nick!

Our 5th Grade students had their Wax Museum presentations on Monday. They did a great job taking on the role of an important person in early American history and sharing about this person by creating a monologue and artifacts. Great job!

Mrs. Yemma and Mrs. McGovern's 5th grade class at Lippitt Elementary constructed Solar Ovens during their "Camp Read a lot" reading week. Their students learned about solar energy, radiation, and conduction! Today, students were able to make S'mores in their ovens thanks to the warm weather and bright sun! We would call this a delicious success!
