Today was National Coffee With a Cop Day! Two of our elementary schools hosted WPD officers-past & present, boots & paws 🐾-along with parents, & school administrators. We're incredibly thankful for our community partners at the Warwick Police Department ☕️👮🏻♂️

K-8 students are finishing their beginning-of-the-year testing on our curriculum platform, iReady. What does this mean? Why is iReady My Path so crucial to individual learning growth? These questions and more are answered here: https://www.warwickschools.org/article/913040

We are in awe of this beautiful mural outside of Lippitt Elementary School! Special thanks to the artists, Peter Geisse & Mika Seeger, as well as the students & staff who all created tiles to be included. What an incredible, lasting memory & masterpiece!

Reminder! No school this Monday, September 25th

We're so proud of the Park Elementary community! #warwickpride #blueribbonschool #closingthegap

There will be a FREE flu vaccine clinic happening in Warwick soon.
Here’s some important information about the FREE flu vaccine clinic:
• Register online at www.schoolflu.com to schedule an appointment.
• Online registration is required to ensure the availability of the vaccine.
• Insurance information will be collected, but the vaccine is FREE whether you have insurance or not.
The flu is a serious, highly contagious, and sometimes deadly disease. Catching the flu means missing days of work and school. You might even have to spend time in the hospital. Don’t take the risk — the flu vaccine is your best protection against the flu.
For more information, visit health.ri.gov/flu/, or call the Department of Health’s information line at 401-222-5960.

We want to thank everyone who joined us at the Winman Open House earlier this week, it was a wonderful evening- shout out to our families, local agencies, & teachers who made it a success!

Congratulations to Warwick's Elementary & Secondary leaders who participated in the Youth Mental Health First Aid certification course. YMHFA gives people the tools to identify, understand, & respond to someone who might be struggling with their mental health or substance misuse, then connect them with appropriate support & resources when necessary.

Welcome Back, Students! We are looking forward to having another wonderful school year here at Warwick Public Schools!
